Troubleshooting for Device Configuration Issues

Phones Configurations Are Mismatched

Check Provisioning Server Settings: 

  • Ensure the phone is retrieving correct configuration files

Manually Reconfigure SIP Settings: 

  • Go to Admin Settings > Network > SIP and update details. 

Reset the Phone to Factory Defaults: 

  • If needed, reset and reconfigure from scratch. 

Phones Are Showing Incorrect Time and Date

Verify NTP (Network Time Protocol) Server Settings: 

  • Set to a correct time server (e.g., pool.ntp.org)

Check Internet Connectivity: 

  • Phones need access to NTP servers for time sync. 

Restart the Phone: 

  • A reboot may force time synchronization.
